If you have your receipt, read the back of it.  IT will tell you.  You have to have it to return items, anyway.

most items that are on sale are considered final sales and will be circled on your receipt. there have times that you purchase a item that's on sale and can be returned or exchanged but without your receipt you will only get credit for the current item price if they were marked down again or have moved to Clarence. check the back of your receipt for store policy.
