Can you reverse the effects of weed be gone on flowers?

I am moving into my grandmas old house, my aunt and cousin used weed be gone on all of the flowers because they were to lazy to mow around the flower beds and the yard looks terrible. Is there anything i can do?

what a shame!.... if you'd been there right after they sprayed, you could have sprayed water heavily to wash it off, but now, with time having passed, the plants aren't going to revive....best hope is that they weren't too thorough and some of the plants may come back from the roots.... tho it's a wild hope..... sure isn't a great way to start out in a new house for you.... killing grandma's flowers.... that's pretty sad......

Who needs enemies  when you have family.. The annuals you can forget,but the perennials. roses, and shrubs  should make a comeback unless they have been inundated with this stuff. Just clear the dead foliage away to make the borders tidy, and see what happens.

Let's hope it was just Weed B Gone and not something more permanent.  I'd ask them to show me the container....some people don't realize there are different types of herbicides, some temporary and some very long lasting.  If it was something longer lasting, you may not be able to garden in those areas for up to 7 years.  Weeds will appear before then but they are shallow and not getting into the residual chemical down lower.  

Remove any dead plant debris and rebuild the soil with compost, bone meal, et al.  That way you'll be ready to start adding new plants at the prooper time.

Alas, the first poster is right.  If you'd caught it early, lots of water would help lessen the effects.  If any time has passed, the plants have absorbed the poisons, and you'll just have to wait and see.

If they don't make it, you can console yourself with the thought that you can pick out things you like to replace them.
