Can you ride a crf150f on a motocross track?

Question

I have a crf150f dirt bike and I was wondering if i would be able to take it to a motocross track and practice. Would I do ok? Or is there no way I could ride a trail bike on a track?

you can take it too practise tracks if you want to but like auburn has said the bike is not made for it you would be better keeping to fun/trail riding on it of upgrading to a prope race bike if you really want to ride motocross

you can ride any bike on a motocross track, u might get smoked but u can do it, it depends where u go cuz im not saying ur a bad rider but a crf150 is not a big bike and not that fast either, u should seriously look into getting a 2stroke, way faster and less hassle, i got a KTM EXC 250 2stroke and its a trail bike but i kill wanna be motocrossers on the tracks, thnx for riding a dirt bike no matter what kind, as long as its not a kawi

The crf150f is really not designed to jump and the suspension is just not made for it.  You risk cracking the frame on it by jumping it and also injuring yourself as the suspension will not take up the impact of jumping.  I have seen people ride and race bikes like klx125's and ttr 125's here in Australia before it became illegal to race them here and the amount of cracked frames even on the bikes that had, had extra work done to them to make them more viable to race.  The decision was made here to not have a class to race them in due to this.  

You don't need a 2 stroke bike and 2 strokes are slowly disappearing off the race grids making way for more 4 strokes and here in the junior lites class the 2 stroke 125cc's race against the 250cc 4 strokes and the 4 strokes do have the advantage.  

Save up for a crf150r or depending upon your size a 250cc 4 stroke and if you feel that you do want a 2 stroke again depending upon size and age you could look at a 85cc or 125cc.
