I have a wireless card on my laptop. I also have a router that's connected to my xbox 360. I was wondering if I could route the wireless internet connection to my xbox 360 so I could play on xbox live.

  1. Yes you can essentially "share" your wireless internet connection on your laptop with your xbox 360, providing you allow a shared connection. To do this you have to go to your network connections in the control panel, click local area connection, and there should be a sharing tab, with an option to share your connection with other computers, or in this case your xbox 360, through the ethernet port on your computer

  2. If the Xbox 360 will let you go wireless then yes you can - you have to check the settings in the menu where it says internet.

  3. You can use powerline instead.  It works much better for online gaming because it has less latency.

Here is where you can shop for adapters:

It sounds like you already have a router, so all you need to do is buy a pair of adapters.  After you buy a pair, you can then buy the individual adapters.
