  1. sure if produces enough power. the end usage items don't care what makes the electric power just that its producing enough. Check the power usage of a computer and how much per solar unit do the basic math.

  2. yup

  3. i believe so. it would have to be connected somehow.. not sure on that. but they make a green desktop pc. check it out!

  4. not at night.

  5. If you had a big enough sun, why not?

  6. Yes. You can run your entire household on solar. It does work at night. During the day the panels produce power and charge your batteries. The batteries also store the power for later use.The batteries are hooked up in sequence to give you 12v 24v or 48v then they go to an inverter to change the power from DC to AC so you can plug in and run your home. If you just want to run a computer there are small setups just for this. We have a laptop with a wireless internet card and can use it anywhere we can get a signal just like a cell phone. You can be in the middle of nowhere plug into a small roll up solar panel and surf away. It also works for your cell phone.you can get solar for the smallest thing like a flash light to entire towns, it just depends on your needs. You can contact a solar dealer and they can tell you what setup you need.Mother Earth News and Home Power magazines are good sources for info.
