  1. Yes, but at some point you are going to owe the IRS money.  Check at irs.gov .     Call the City Treasurer about city taxes or licenses.  She will help you.  


  2. I think that depends on the income you make off of it. I can't say for sure because every state is different. I would call your local chamber of commerce or state tax dept and ask them. they'll be able to give you a definate answer.


  3. No and why would you? It does not take much to do it right. Go to the city hall where you will be based and apply for a business license usually under $75 next go to a bank of your choice and open a business checking account, they will advise you what steps you need to take. It's very easy and that's it you are in business and legal. Your social security number is your tax id number. You would be a sole proprietorship business and a self employed person.

  4. If you make more than $600/year with this new business you will be required to claim it on your taxes - and you are required by law to pay sales tax on the goods you sell - which will require a business license even if you are a home based business.  Not to mention - with a vendor's license you then are able to purchase goods wholesale and without paying sales tax - so long as the goods are used to produce your products.
