Can you safely mix prozac and klonopin with adderal?

I was recently prescribed prozac and klonopin for depression and anxiety, i was wondering if it would be safe to use an average dose of adderal with the two, because i have a huge school project close ahead and i needed the motivation to get all the work done in one night. please, i need an educated honest answer or i'll get really behind on this project. thanks.

  1. You should pose this type of question to a professional- doctor or pharmacist.


  2. It should be safe if by "average dose of adderal" you mean the dose your doctor prescribed.  You do, however, as someone noted above, risk aggravating your anxiety.

  3. This is not an okay mixture. First of all, you're being treated for anxiety, so you should not be taking stimulant drugs of any sort, and adderall is a very powerful, very anxiety provoking amphetamine mixture. Second, you're taking Klonopin, a sedative/tranquilizer, which should not be mixed with stimulants like adderall: it's essentially taking two drugs with opposite effects, it can severely compound the unpleasant side effects of each.

    Basically this combo is a very high risk for some very bad things happening. You should not do this. If necessary, approach the instructor and ask for an extension and point out that you're having difficulty working due to your medication.
