I hope so, because there are many species that humans couldn't survive without.  Unfortunately, we don't know what all of them are.

You can save them in the freezer for about a month or two but the meat could get freezer burn and you would have to thow it out. thats kind of a waist.

I do all that I can to combat the ignorance of people like rockerchick. Torturing defenseless animals so people like her can have "better" cosmetics. What difference does it make if you are supposedly beautiful on the outside but rotted on the inside. Humans are so arrogant and that is why our earth is warming up and the weather is becoming brutal - the elements are rebelling against our arrogance and we will not prevail in the end. Mother Nature will not continue to allow our abuse without retribution. The animals are part of Nature and we will pay for our sins against the creatures.

Animal life is not on the same level as human life.  If a poor puppy has to have it's hair washed by some shampoo to make sure it's okay for mine, I'm not sympathetic.  Animals eat other animals, also.  Why can't I?

everyone can do their part in saving an animal. just a month ago a kitten ran in front of my car. i got out, picked it up and took it the no kill animal shelter.

I'm not sure about the anomals. But I sure do try to do my part in protecting the animals I encounter on a daily basis.

Let's see, before you think on saving the animals, reflect if you can die for the welfare of the animals. IMHO, humans are the number one impediment for animals to progress into development and evolution. So, if you're universally-ethical, have time on your hands, have all the money you could ever want, go and save the animals while in the long run, you could even bag up for world peace.

I'm with bored at work guy! I don't eat endangered species but I do see the recipe book dots on sheep, cows and pigs in fields.
