Ok, let's take a look at homosexuality from a purely biological viewpoint...

There is no biological benefit which homosexuality, male/male pairs and female/female pairs who cannot procreate, can provide.

If homosexuality were somehow the evolutionary leap forward and all humans became homosexual, then what would happen to the human race? It would either die out, or we would have human beings converted into child producing factories through artificial insemination and rape rooms for those women who refuse, in my opinion of course. After all the survival of humanity would be at stake...and what kind of government would allow the populace to refuse this kind of patriotic and humanist duty? Remember, if the Bible is not true, and scientists are right, then homosexuality, along with humanity in general is an evolutionary accident, and therefore there is no purpose, no cause and effect, no reason whatsoever for homosexuality, let alone for human life to exist at all, so anything goes.

Homosexuality does not provide a stable and nurturing environment for children. For example: regarding 2 women: if one woman has a child, the other shares no biological link to that child, nor does she share a spiritual bond to the child. It is by no means the ideal situation.

Regarding 2 men: if they are to have a child in that relationship, there must be a female surrogate who is the child's true mother. The man whose sperm inseminated the woman would have the biological link to the child, and the spiritual link would be with that man and the woman.

The second man would have no biological or spiritual bond to the child.

Male couples and female couples cannot biologically or spiritually provide or experience the same kind of connection to, or relationship with the child as that of the child's 2 natural parents, the man and woman united in marriage. It is a biological and spiritual impossibilty.

The Judeo-Christian institution of marriage is what our society is based upon, and regardless whether or not one is willing to admit this fact of history and modernity, homosexual marriage is an oxymoron. Homosexuality specifically rebels against the very principles of personal responsibility, virtue, and piety upon which marriage is based. Homosexuality not only condones mulitple partners, but promotes it. This is extremely high risk behavior from which the contraction of std's is very likely. The fact that homosexual couples do not have to "worry" about pregnancy only increases the misperception that this lifestyle choice increases the opportunity for risk free s*x. Homosexuality also condones and promotes along with casual s*x; s&m, bondage and fetishes.

This is not a movement seeking liberation from traditional values and morality, it is unadulterated rebellion from responsibility and accountability and a celebration of lust.

As for the specific religious reasons: God condems homosexuality as an abomination. Period.

None of this is said out of hate, or bigotry, or any sense of superiority. It is said out of concern. If a person sees another person who is about to be hit by a car do they,

a. do nothing

b. yell that there's a car coming

c. yell there's a car coming and at the same time try to reach them

It is absolutely irresponsible to sit idly by and just nod along and tell people what they want to hear, when what they do will absolutely result in a consequence of such horror that none on this earth can even fathom.

Being a homosexual does not mean that you have to engage in the homsexual lifestyle.

Jesus Christ will save you and change your desires, and forgive you for all the sins of your life, past/present and future if you just ask Him to and believe in Him.

If you do this you will be reborn into the family of God and have your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life, and nothing can take you out of His hand.

Marriage is to be a protected family unit. It is supposed to be protection for the woman and the kids.

In today's society- it's become almost a joke.  Serial monogamy seems to be what is going on. No til death do us part- it's when the romance is gone.. I'm outta here...

But marriage is by definition- two partners, together, to have children and be united, a family, and on and on- grandmothers, great grandmothers, etc. Blood relations. Extended family. g**s can't do this.

g*y people can live together, and set up everything joint ownership and beneficiary without making a marriage of it.

The Bible is the standard by which I seek to walk out my life. My faith is not just some sort of hobby, it is the hope of my life, now and forevermore.Homosexuality is no a genetic condition it is a lust of the flesh just like any other sin.I would stand against any other sin that they tried to make legal. Homosexuality is sin, if I were silent and did not point that out then I would be guilty of causing those I come into contact with to be lost, but if I speak out the facts, then maybe I can save someone from being lost. Basically all of the arguments against it are EITHER based on religion OR based on the fact that some people think it is "yucky" or "unnatural". But how can you possibly call something unnatural when it occurs in nature?! Lots of other species have s*x with the same gender as well...
