  1. Why not?!

  2. Yes, my daughter qualified as an Open Water diver with a brace

  3. i don't see why not

  4. Why wouldnt you be able to?

  5. yes you can. Just make sure to inspect you regulator's mouth piece before and after each dive. If it looks a bit worn then swap it out for another. Your divemaster should have a "save-a-dive" kit with some in it, and you may want to get a couple of spares for yourself if you plan on diving alot.

  6. y not?

  7. why would you need braces?....doesn't your wet suit fit you?

  8. Ya!  =)

  9. Sure, why not?

Check your mouthpiece before commiting to the dive, but I see no reason why you couldn't dive with braces. A spare mouthpiece is prudent, good point for those who mentioned it here!

Enjoy the sea and go for it, I say.

  10. Absolutely, but you may want to get a Sea-Cure mouthpiece for your regulator. You just soak it in hot water for a little while and then put it in your mouth. It forms to your mouth shape. Very comfortable.

  11. yes

  12. yep :)

  13. yes i had braces and went to  fort walton beach florida and scuba dived and it was fine.(by the way got to ft walton beach!!!!!! it owns)

  14. Hiya. As many other people have said, its fine to dive with braces. The one thing I would say to you is before you hit open water (ie, the Sea!) Try your regulator in the pool with your braces in to make sure it's comfortable for you as there's nothing worse than massive jaw ache!

Also like to second what the others said about making sure you have a spare mouth piece stored somewhere during your dive. I've had one come off during a dive before and it's not fun!!

    Enjoy your diving!!

  15. i do not see why not???
