  1. Yes. I had a look at it about an hour ago. As with a bit of the cloud cover you see on GE, it's not completely rendered so there are some pixillated green bits...but maybe that's just my crappy computer. It looks pretty hardcore. I hope it doesn't do what they're forecasting it might.


  2. Yes you must first enable the "Weather" check box in the Layers section on the the lower left of the window. And it's up to date enough that you can see the next storm, Hanna, to the west of it. I think Google updates it to keep it accurate for something like that. It is what some news outlets use.
