i don't know about anyone else, but, i sort of feel them, not see them in old photos.

When you say auras, are you referring to the apparent glow caused by fuzzy filters and backlighting, or are you referring to a supernatural haze that supposedly surrounds us?  If you are talking about the former, then yes you can.  If you are speaking of the latter, then no you can't see an aura on any photograph.

No, you can't. In fact, there is absolutely no scientific evidence that "auras" exist at all. If you see a purported aura photograph, remember that in this day and age photographs can very easily be manipulated.

There are no photographs of ghosts, how do you explain photographs of auras?

Maybe your mother is around you at all times and protecting you- kind of like a guardian angel, and she just wanted you to know she will protect you. I am really sorry about your loss. I can't imagine what it would feel like. I really hope this helps you and makes you feel safer.
