Palin's speech was good, up to a point.  Then it became "Nonny, nonny, nonny, vote for Johnny, we hate Obammy."  I kept expecting her to wag her *** back and forth and tell Obama jokes will laughing louder than anyone else in the hall.  What's Palin's position on the war in Iraq, on how the U.S. should handle the threat of terrorism, on Guantanamo Bay, on government funding of alternative energy, on funding social security, on the deficit, or even on frickin moose hunting season for cripe's sake?  Nobody knows because she hasn't been asked about them, and didn't have to think about them (except for the moose part) as Governor of a state that would barely make the top 20 in population of U.S. cities.  I don't think anyone who wasn't already a Limbaugh Republican thought much of that speech after the first 15 minutes.

Obama and Biden met a barracuda they are going to have to face again and again.  They probably aren't sleeping very well tonight.

They might as well name the next hurricane Sarah.  The storm is building up speed.

I certainly hope we'll see a sinking ship in the Obama/Biden ticket.  If they reach the White House, I fear that our country will be a rapidly sinking ship.  Especially if the Dems maintain control of Congress.  Imagine what things would be like with Obama in the Oval Office and Pelosi as Speaker of the House.  Can we say socialism?
