Can you see the time you called somone. or how long you talked to them on a phone bill?...also does it say whos phone i called even if i dont have the name programed in my phone...or does it just show the number...cus i talk for like hrs

  1. yes, cell phones will if the service provider gives an itemized bill,

    landline companies typically do not give an itemized bill of local calls, but do list long distance calls.


  2. Yes it shows everything you asked except the name. It shows the time, amount of time talked and to what number in what state. It also shows the dollar amount charged.

I use Verizon Wireless and they provide the number I talked with (whether an incoming or outgoing call), time of day, length of call, and whether the call was peak/off-peak and in/out of network (Verizon Wireless has free minutes when talking to other Verizon Wireless customers and during off-peak hours).  I suspect that all companies would do the same, but I don't know.  It would be good to understand the limits of your calling plan because whoever is paying the bill will not be happy if they suddenly get a bill that is 100s of minutes over the plan limit at like 50 cents per minute.
