Are there any seats at Indy where one can see the entire track? If so, where? If not, what's the fan's viewing experience like?

  1. no

  2. No. When I started going there in 1979 (I was 10) if you sat way at the top of the main straight you could see quite a bit of the track. But with the larger grandstands on the inside, the taller trees and the installation of the viewing mounds on the infield, it's changed a lot. The video boards are big help, though.

  3. I've heard from numerous people that you cannot see the entire track, but they do have lots of the Sprint Vision screens for you to see the rest of the action.

And, I've also heard people say that you go to Indy for the experience and the history that it contains. I've never been, but would like to go to the Allstate 400 sometime soon.
