  1. Chain pet stores have their own suppliers and from what I know won't buy from a walk in.

But like someone else mentioned the privately owned pet stores may be interested in taking them or buying them.

If it's a one time deal or your not in the business of breeding and selling, then I can't see why you'd need a license.

Keep in mind that the babies might be taken to be sold or used as feeders. Something to consider if your keeping yours as pets.

  2. Some will take them and some won't Sometimes they'll pay you money for them, and sometimes they won't. You should ask around and see if any petshops will let you sell to them before you start breeding them.

  3. yes you can, I used to breed hamsters, rats and mice to this nice little pet shop around the corner of my house. That was my allowance when i was a little kid. I actually made a lot of money out of it but most of the time i traded for food and supplies.  If you are buying some try to find a pregnant female therefore you pay for one and get a whole liter.  All in all just look around to the petstores near you like small family owned etc.

  4. yeah but they only give you like 25 cents each for them

  5. Yes you can. But large chain stores will most liekly want a licensed supplier, so go for the smaller ones, family, or locally/privately owned stores will be your best bet.

  6. they should and i hope they do because i have 3 preg mice so if they dont buy mice from people well lets just say it might get messy

  7. it depends on the state you live in and even the county.

So do a web search on your county and or state, they should have a section on licenses and or animals.

But why do you want the mice ?
