It's illegal to import most prescription medications into the U.S. from most countries.  So the answer to your question would depend partly on what type of medicine you want to import, and partly on whether you're planning on doing so legally or illegally.

If it's illegal, no reputable pharmacy or doctor would help you. That means you'd have to be buying the medicine on the black market, which means you would be leaving yourself open to get scammed or cheated, or to wind up buying medicine that's ineffective or possibly even dangerous. That's a pretty big risk to take.
