Can you send picture message on the sidekick 3?

i know i can recieve them but i have to log in my account to the see photos people send me. i see that i can but i can sned it through e-mail only. how much will they charge me? do theys till charge me even though i have free text messages but not unlimited?

how does the whole e-mail thing work?
