Can you serve draft beer from a home brew keg coupler?

What are the implications of this? I'm writing an article for a client and have to do my own research...having difficulty finding answers. Help, homebrew oficianados!!

  1. I'm not entirely following you on this but a 5 gallon keg is a 5 gallon keg, much like a euro sankey is a euro sankey.  The contents found therein have very little to do with the way the keg can/will operate.  You can have a full blown nitro tap for homebrew if you really wanted to.


  2. Not if you are refering to the actual keg "tap." The equipment to tap a large commercial beer keg is differnet than the smaller homebrew keg taps.

    You can use the same spout for each but not tap the keg with same coupler.
