recieved a box of books that the seller forgot that I didn't want to buy and sent it to me. I told her that I didn't buy it and she just said sorry. However she didn't say anything about sending it back. I want to send it back because its the right thing to do but I'm not going to pay shipping when it is her fault for not reading correctly.

So, can you ship back an unopened box without paying shipping through USPS? thanks <3

  1. It depends on the class of service.  Many retailers agree to pay for return postage.  If you write return to sender on the unopened box, then the post office will probably return it and bill the sender for the return postage.  But, return postage sometimes costs as much or more than the originating postage.  So I would check with the seller to make sure they wish to pay the return postage.
