  1. Depends on how many, and what they are. Cubans are a big no.

  2. yes you can. but there are limitations. like only 10 boxes or so. it's depending on the country

  3. There is a limit, depending on the airline I think.

It's probably better too give him the money too buy them at the duty-free shop - Some have them really cheap and you don't have too pay tax!

I don't smoke, but I've seen the packs in airports.

Also, sometimes it's not the quantity of cigars, but what kind.

  4. Yes, he can take them to Spain without ANY problems whatsoever.

  5. Your friend can carry up to 50 cigars into Spain duty-free or more if he is moving within the EU, any more than that he may have to pay duty on. There are no TSA or airline restrictions regarding tobacco, and he should be fine either carrying them on or checking them in. Btw, the USA is the only place where Cuban cigars are not sold or allowed to be imported, they are available and legal in most other countries in the world.

  6. I have found the safest thing to do is mail them to him. When you are changing airports, especially in different countries, you have no idea what they are going to discard. I have passed through customs in one country to only have something confiscated as contraband in another countries airport.

  7. I'm not sure about Spain, but when entering most countries there is a tax or duty one has to pay on tabacco and alcohol.
