Can you show jump with an all purpose english saddle?

im looking into buying a new saddle and just want to be sure

I personally do so i would say yes. It is all about preference, if you want extra padding, or don't you.

Close contact saddles are best for jumping because they allow for your leg to be in the best position possible over fences. All purpose saddles work also but generally have a straighter, less forward flap that encourages your leg to be between a dressage position and a jumping position.
