i get how to get x<-5 but where does x>-2 come from

(2x+1)/(x+2) - 3&lt;0

[(2x+1)-3(x+2)]/(x+2)&lt;0

now there are two answer

(2x+1)-3(x+2)&lt;0

-x-5&lt;0

x&gt;-5

or

(x+2)&lt;0

x&lt;-2

so answer is

-5&lt;x&lt;-2
