you can see if they are smart, fair, dumba-ss and have potential

by their judgement, logic, actions, reasoning,open mindedness,even their needs and wants (if they want to be noticed or perceived as intelligent [know it all] then you know what it means)

Some derive their logic through purely emotions which is very stupid and have no logic at all.

You'll know if you're very interested and very meticulous about the details of everyone surrounding you.

Honestly i have a gift in this thing-(modesty aside) i've rarely mistaken but i don't completely judge anyone about it until i'm more than 100% sure.

Some predict using the words, their writing, vocabulary and culture but it isn't very accurate on the potentiality

Teachers/Proffs are doing those but like i said potentiality depends on the person but they can't judge that without that person giving an effort
