Can you shrink a Bikini??

Question

i have just bought some biknis and the bottom are a tiny bit too big... is there any way i can shrink the bottoms slightly at home to fit me....

any tips??

I think it depends on whether or not the fabric is even subject to shrinking.  I know that cotton will, but few if any swimsuits are made from cotton since it takes so long to dry and it is a natural fiber.  First you need to see what fibers your suit is made from and if they can shrink.  Good luck.

It's pretty unlikely that a bikini will shrink, unless it's made of cotton or wool.  That's pretty unlikely.  But if you are willing to spend a bit of money, take it to a seamstress (look in the phone book) and she  can probably take in the side seams a bit.  On a bikini, that's a pretty small job, it shouldn't cost too much.
