say you want to know what it's like to be deaf. is there something that you can, maybe, put over your ears or something that will block out all noise and let you feel deaf? That would be awesome but i don't know if that exists. does it? and if it does, where could i find one?

  1. Try using earplugs (the foam expanding type) with a quality pair of earmuffs over the top - I do this while I am using a chainsaw, and you can feel the vibrations (when someone else is using it) much more than you can hear the motor reving. I don't know how else you could appear any deafer without actually BEING deaf.

  2. I don't think there's anything you can do to completely block out all sound. Maybe you can put in earplugs, noise-cancelling headphones over it, and earmuffs over all of it?

  3. What?
