Can you sing your own song in a movie audition?

I have written like 5 or 6 songs that many people(besides my family and friends) have said that they are good. In movie auditions you have to sing 2 songs.....could i song my own if one was upbeat and one was a ballad.....or do i have to sing a song they would know........and can you play the guitar while you sing??

I wouldn't sing a song you wrote for an audition. I would sing something classical that really shows off your singing ability.

You could play the guitar, but I wouldn't advise it, unless it's required for the movie.
