  1. Regardless of what they say -- take the lenses out at night and give them a good rub with the "no rub" multipurpose solutions.  You wouldn't splash water on your car and expect the dirt to come off, don't expect anything different with your lenses.

They need to be cleaned and disinfected regularly.  Falling asleep with them in your eyes once or twice isn't going to hurt anything, but it's not a good practice to get into, even with the "extended wear" lenses.   Just because the FDA says it's fine doesn't mean it is...we've seen what the FDA's approved and then later found out to be incorrect/bad.

If you ARE going to try it, first reconsider it.   If you're still h**l-bent on doing it, add some of the multipurpose solution to your eyes before going to bed (give it a good rinse), then do so a few times upon waking.

  2. They have FDA approval for up to 7 nights extended wear.  Of course, you should get clearance from your doctor to make sure you are a good candidate.

  3. I sleep in my contacts all the time

You're not suppose to but oh well!

Don't do it for more than 3 days though because they get stuck to your eye and are hard to get out.

You're eye might hurt a little bit when you take it out but in a couple minutes you'll be fine

  4. it is not advisable to sleep with any lense althought it claims to be suitable. It is advisable by the eye doc to decide on how the lenses shd be use.
