  1. no,if its normal soft contact lens u can sleep with these lenses.Do u know, while sleeping ,with these lenses,ur cornea can not have oxygen exchnage,so it can lead to more complication in future.

if u want to wear contact lens while sleeping,u should opt for Ortho K lens with good DK value so that cornea can do oxygen exchange.these lenses are designed to wear it while sleeping and remove it in the morning.Thease lenses temporarily reshapes the cornea .after three weeks ,if u have less power than 5.5Dthen u have to wear it twice a week while sleeping.

consuld good ophthalmologist for the fitting

  2. You can sleep with contacts on but you shouldn't. I know some of my friends do what you do and just put eye drops and it's fine for them. For others it can be very bad and the contact lense can wear off on the eye destroying the outer layer. You can also get an infection or a corneal ulcer. I'd suggest if you sleep with them have alteast once a week or a certain day dedicated to having them inside the conact lense case with solution so they can get clean and remove the bacteria and such

    hope it helps :]

  3. If your contact lenses are extended wear, then it's OK to sleep with them in.  Just put drops in your eyes every morning to clear them up and keep them from being dry.  I change mine about every two weeks.  If they're not torn, I clean them really well and put them back in.

If your contact lenses are daily wear, then you shouldn't sleep with them in.  You can get an infection in your eyes  and your eyes can become very irritated from sleeping with them in.  Check with the optometrist to find out what kind they are if you aren't sure.

It takes practice putting them in and taking them out.  If you are determined to wear them vs. glasses, then you will conquer this monster of taking your contacts out and putting them back in.

Good Luck - I know you can do this.

  4. It ok but your eyes can get red.

  5. I've heard that you take the chance of the contact sliding on top of your eyeball. If that happens it has to be surgically removed. This happens when you enter REM your eye moves back and forth fast while you are dreaming. Good luck
