  1. out side

  2. Yes in designated areas if the Captain or the policy of the ship allows.  Otherwise there are more places than not that you would not ordinarily be allowed to smoke in.

  3. yes, you can smoke but only in designated areas.  You are not allowded to smoke in your cabin.  The person on Princess didn't obey the rules and set the entire ship on fire!  Be prepared to have limited smoking areas and you'll probably be happy.

  4. When I went with my parents they had a smoking room (yuck) and there were designated smoking areas all around the ship -- including the Cigar bar.

  5. Yes, actually, there are many areas to smoke on a cruise ship..designanted of course. You can not smoke in your room, but you can on your balcony. Some cruise ships are totally non smoking, but there are not many that exclusive.

  6. I don't know where these people are coming from that are telling you,  you can't smoke or you can smoke outside. You can smoke in your room, on the balcony if you have a cabin with a balcony and on the outside decks, one side is smoke free and the other side is smoking. They tried to have a smoke free ship but it didn't last long and they had to give it up. Lost to much business. I was on a brand new ship, Princess, and smoking was definitely allowed.  Not in the area's you eat or the shows they have.  In your room it is allowed. I do not know how they do it, but none of the cabin's smell like they have been smoked in.

  7. In Greek islands cruises you can smoke on most of the common areas.

I love the islands of Mykonos, Santorini, and many other islands in Greece! I recommend http://www.cruise.gr

  8. On the open decks.  Or if you have your own balcony.
