If i were to put alcohol into a water bottle then check my bag (not take it with me on the plane) but put it under the plane...and they found the water bottle while searching my luggage what would they do? would they just throw it out or would they freak out?

  1. As long as its not carry on your allowed to just leave the alchool in the original bottle

  2. haha well that is actually considered illegal

bc they cud accuse you of putting **** in it

so just to be safe, id give it a pass lol

  3. They would probably open you case and see if it is open (the bottle) if you had vodka or something clear then MAYBE you would be able to fool them if they opened it and smelled it, they would notice if it was alcohol, I am not sure if vodka is odorless (I don't drink). But you can be sure as h**l they would not taste it.

  4. Unless you are on an International flight and trying to not declare the alcohol purchase with customs, there is no problem having liquids or alcohol in your checked bags.

I bring beer back for friends when I travel all the time and have had no issues.

For a specific list of what you can and cannot bring (most of the restrictions are for carry-ons) your best bet is to visit your airline's website for their policys.

  5. Most places would throw it out. its not a big deal if they find it, you wouldn't be doing any thing wrong. except violating there not liquids policy. Hopes this helps!!

  6. I think they might freak out...

airports are so tight these days.

  7. you dont have to put it in a water bottle, just wrap the orginal bottle up so it dont get broke..

just cant have liquids on your carry on.

If trying to bring liquor, such as absinthe into the US, that are banned by customs... its a different situation.

For absinthe,  i would recommend  a cool mint listerne bottle.. same color, and would be something you would take on a trip..

  8. You are allowed so to put Liquids in your suitcase as long as you do not carry it on the plane. But if it goes threw the luggage handlers thats ok. I go on Cruises alot and I always bring back liquor. But as I said it has to be out in the suitcase. Not the carry on...

  9. what you are saying is done all the time.

putting water, liquor, or even alcohol in your check in luggage is OK.

its the trying to take it in your carry on that would be frowned upon.

  10. First of all by experience I noticed a few flaws ...,  why one  , where u could have 1 keg ...how? decorate it....that simple i mean it worked for me .

  11. You can pack as much liquor as you want in the baggage that you check.  The airport security guards will taste EVERYTHING that you put in your bag.  That is why the planes are always late, drunk baggage handlers get the bags on late, after tasting all the liquor.  Sometimes the pilot and co-pilot will participate in the drinking, that is why they are flying drunk and the planes sometimes miss the runways.  Its all good as long as we have a great flight.

  12. IF they can tell that the water bottle has been opened they will open it up and smell it.

I know it's happend to me.

  13. you may get caught

    its violating their liquids policy

  14. You are allowed to have both water and alcohol in your checked baggage.  If it was found whoever discovered it would probably wonder why you went through all the trouble to try to disguise a perfectly legal product.
