Can you sneak your own alcohol onto cruise ships?

I'm gonna go on cruise, im just curious if they let your bring your own alcohol or if they search your bag or anything, otherwise i think im going to just bring a liter of vodka or something because i hear drinks are very expensive on board

no dude...you cant bring uor own alcohol on cruise., at all..cause there are rules..about it...., try buy alchol in d islands..wen u get down...,and put in uor bag..

when i took a cruise..i bougth some bottles of run in Caiman Islands....and it was great....

Virtually all cruise lines prohibit bringing alcohol on board. There really is no legal reason for this (assuming you are not under age), they do it as a policy to increase on-board alcohol sales. These are a huge money maker for the cruise lines. So if you put alcohol in your luggage and they find it they will confiscate it. Also, even though they x-ray the luggage the odds are remote they will find it or do anything about it if they do. If you are the Lucky one to have his baggage hand searched then you just supplied the booze for the crews party.

are you so dependent on alcohol that u have to sneak?...or too cheap to pay the cruise line...find you own seaside escape, and lay back with a margarita, and let the world float by.........

Pour the vodka in a water bottle and pack it with your checked luggage. The odds of being caught are slim. It's not like you're bringing an entire bar with you. You could also buy on an island (cheaper) and pour it into a water bottle and bring it back to the ship in your backpack/bag.

Don't worry, you'll spend plenty on the ship drinks anyway. I've also brought soda and beer.

Lets face it, a cruise is not cheap. So, dont start sneaking stuff on when you know its not allowed. Bad idea guy. Set aside some booze money and enjoy it.

if you are going on a cruise it is not the time to be cheap-and your bags are scanned as u leave and enter the ship at all times -so good luck
