Can you soak apple slices in vodka for 36 hours without going bad???

i want to soak apple slices in a vodka drink im making over 36 hours??? can it be done or will they go bad and turn brown?

Usually soaking apples in liquid and refrigerating them will slow down the browning process.  I used to work in a grocery store making fruit trays, and to slow down the process with apples we would soak them in pineapple juice.  Just make sure you keep them chilled.

Don't know.  Hmmmm... if I were going to try it then I would put it in a bowl with a tight lid and keep it in the fridge.  Sounds intriguing.

However, I do know cherries soaked in vodka (fresh cherries) taste wonderful.
