  1. 2f(-2) + g(3)

    f(-2) =2(2)^2 -7 = 1

    g(3) = -4*3-6 = -18

    = 2*1 +-18 = 2-18 = -16

    2). -3f(5) +3g(-3)

    f(5) = 2(5)^2 -7 = 43

    g(-3) = -4*-3-6 = 6

    -3*43 + 3*6

    = -129 +18

      = -111

  2. 1.  2 [2*(-2)^2 - 7] + [-4*3 + - 6]

    = 2[1] + [-18]

    = -16

    2. -3 [2*(5)^2 - 7] + 3 [-4(-3) - 6]

    = -3 [43] + 3 [6]

    = -129 +18

    = -111

  3. f(-2) = 2(-2)^2-7 = 2(4)-7=1

    g(3)=-4(3)-6=-18

    2f(-2)+g(3) = 2(1)-18 =-16

    2)

    f(5) = 2(5)^2-7 =43

    g(-3) = -4(-3)-6 =6

    -3f(5)+3g(3)=-3(43)+3(6) =-129+18=-111
