Question:

Can you spot the demons?

In full seriousness, though..I took this picture on a ghost tour of a supposedly haunted graveyard back in October...when I got home and looked at the results, I only spotted the orb at first..then, upon closer inspection, I found what appeared to be several black figures sitting atop two of the tombs..at an even closer, magnified, viewpoint, they appeared to be cloaked and hooded; and I additionally found a sinister-looking, grinning face in the tree directly above one of the black figure-topped tombs.

Please assure my sanity, someone? Thoughts from anyone who has a good deal of experience in this field would be especially appreciated, as I would love to get this checked out by professionals at some point.

Thanks so much and happy nightmares :)

  1. a.) Orbs are not spirits.  They are easily (and frequently) explained anomalies that accompany flash photography.

b.) I don't see any black hooded figures.  I do see what appears to be some Tom Foolery.

c.) Crowded cemetery, eh?  Not much variety either.

  2. I squinted lol. OK.. This is what I saw inside what you outlined and they weren't demons. I saw a little girl in the top one and a smiling dog in the bottom one. PLEASE let me know if that's what YOU saw..since I told you what I saw. Thanks!

  3. Hi doll,

it seems to me to be a case of seeing what we want to see, like looking at clouds everyone sees something different.

Personally, no demons, but i can see where you could try to see demons in the leaves, but why not goofy faces?

ever looked at wood grain?  creepy stuff there too

  4. No offense, but I see some very dark photos with a lot of room for imagination. I doubt there were hooded demons there, probably some black splotches from the JPEG encoding trying to handle those very dark areas. JPEG groups colors and interpolates them, which is why its good for photos but not for stuff like small logos. Honestly I can't even see them, but i guess other people here can.

  5. I do see the orb in picture which I suspect is a product of a digital camera taking pictures at night (insufficient light causes inadequate pixels) or possibly something else like moisture on a portion of the lens or a flash reflecting off water/moisture.

I just don't see the image but I'm not a primary visual person and even cloud shapes can be hard for me.

I guess the psuedoskeptics are wrong yet again and people can't always see what they are told to look for.

If any other incident occurred to you at this location at the time you took the picture then I would say it could have been related. However, orbs with digital cameras at night are common (haunted location or not) so I don't see this as evidence of a demon, ghost, or evidence that this place is haunted.

However, I wasn't there so I can only offer an opinion.

Thank you for sharing your experience and posting your picture.

  6. I tried to put some lights to your photo and I noticed there are two image of something human.

I don't think its like what you said ghost? No its not.

  7. this is called matrixing where the human eye tends to chart human features into something.

In other words your head is trying to make you see something that isnt really there.  Plus the resolution on the camera is pretty bad.  When taking pictures where there may be paranormal phenomena you should take 2 or 3 photos of the same view. In case of an orb (usually dust) or something unusual, you have other shots to compare it to so you can attempt to disprove before you can say there is something there to prove.  Don't give up

  8. I only see the soul (orb).I don't see anything else.

  9. Well, my darling wife, I can't say for sure what those may be. Perhaps consulting a professional would be prudent? I don't know of any in Ohio, but there is a good one in New York named Mason Winfield. You can google him, and find his email address. He is supposedly an expert on the paranormal.

  10. I am the founder of H.A.P.I. (Hutchinson Area Paranormal Investigations).  We have been active for several years and done many investigations.

It is easy to let our eyes fool us into seeing things that are not there, by a simple blend of light and dark.  That is why we implement many different tools in the ghost hunting trade.

One of the tools we use as ghost hunters are photo programs like adobe photo shop or kodak.

I took your picture into my program and lightened it.  I just changed the brightness of the picture.  You can clearly see the picture as if it was taken with much more light.  The areas you have outlined are simply shadow areas where there were no leaves to catch your flash.

    Good orb though.

  11. I saw it on the picture!!! You're right!!! There are demons crawling in this world!!! These people are idiots for not seeing it!!!

  12. sorry i dont see it

  13. you sound just like me with my pics lol! I want to know if I'm going crazy too! and yes I do see them how the h**l do you post pics here? I want to put mine up too

  14. Boy there some history in that grave yard but I really cannot see anything at all ever so slightly sinister. Its just some tombs - old ones photographed at night. Good luck

  15. Looks like just leaves to me for the face and the black object appears to be where there are no leaves. Now if the black figure was next to the tombstone I think you might have something.

You can send to the pic to TAPS to look at it.

    goodluck

  16. Yup, there are definitely something there, but I don't get an evil from it. They're just watching you, letting you know they're there.

  17. I enhanced that pic eight ways to Sunday looks like the other dude said leaves and stuff, still a cool photo,

I'd have to make up a story and stick to it
