  1. i don't know i've never tried.

If you have nothing to lose you should try it!!

  2. You can spray ink extremely well through an airbrush, which will give you finer control over flow of material and the air mixture.

Most paint sprayers are meant to work with liquids that are thicker - higher viscosity - than ink.

If this is a big area you want to spray, I would suggest getting a cheap "butterfly gun" like this: http://www.sjdiscounttools.com/atd-6832.... They are generally pretty good, they give the feel of almost using an airbrush and not quite as heavy a spray as you'd get out of a conventional spray gun.

Those kinds of touch up guns, or "butterfly guns" are great for shading, and larger artistic painting. You can get a decent size spray pattern from about the size of a nickel up to a four inch oval spray pattern.

But, the short answer is, yes, you can spray any liquid through your paint sprayer, as long as it is not too high viscosity (molasses wouldn't spray very well).

  3. it should be fine. it might come out a bit differently tho.

because the ink is thinner than paint the sprayer should let the ink through. just how it comes out you will have to see.

  4. It depends....  TiO2 is a suspension not a solution, and India inks are suspensions chemically, but modern blue & black ink jet inks are solutions because the droplets are so small.

There is a nozzle  erosion issue with airless sprayers

  5. Yes, but it comes out different than paint but it works. The ink comes out faster and not has thick.

  6. Why would you want too? It does better through a pen.
