  1. No you need a seed (pit) keep the tree well watered and it might produce later on .

  2. you can not

  3. If you have a flexible branch low enough, you can layer it and it will probably room.  That takes time and the best way to do it is to dig a hole and push the branch into soft dirt and cover it with a rock.  It still have to receive nourishment from the tree until it takes root.  You can do this with many shrubs so you don't have to pay $50 bucks for a shrub.

  4. TRY A BRANCH WITH THE BOTTOM CUT INTO A SPEAR SHAPE AND DIP IN ROOTING COMPOUND- DUSTING ONLY

PLACE IN GROUND AND LEAVE IT TILL NEXT YEAR- DO NOT REMOVE- OR TOUCH IT --TILL YOU SEE NEW SPROUTS.

WATER EVERY WEEK. I DID THIS WITH A CREPT MYRTLE AND IT WORKED.

PUT THE HOLE IN THE GROUND WITH A PENCILE OR s***w DRIVER, KEEPS THE ROOT COMPOUND IN PLACE-

  5. those "branches" are called suckers in the landscape lingo, and no you can't re root a sucker that will survive.

Sorry about your tree loss, but cherr trees are and can be real finicky it seems, and if you end up replacing it, try to find a self polinating species of the cherry .
