Can you stay more than the 90 days in Mexico?

My son and I flew to Mexico and so they stamped our Pass Porst for a 90 day visit, unlike when we drove they dont do that. What can I do if I cant stay more then the 90 days. I want to stay longer so I need to know what I can do.....

  1. you can go to any american embassy.

You can stay up to 180 days on a toursit card, but you need to speak up AT THE TIME...sometimes they try to give you less time, but you need to SAY that you need the full 180 days.  You can renew that tourist card ONE TIME at an immigration office in Mexico if you are near a major city...ask if there is one near you.  After that, you must go back to the border , stay a day or 2 in the U.S. then re-enter Mexico and this time be sure you get the full 180 days on your tourist card.
