Roughly on the 20th of august i came on my period, does this mean i could still be pregnant ? ?

Some say i could others say i couldn't

Thanks heaps

  1. wow hopefully you gave enough time for the pill to start working. goodness.

  2. I had bleeding with two of my kids. Yes, it is possible you are pregnant. Let me give you a tip (not trying to be mean) STOP thinking "it will never happen to you". IF you had unprotected s*x, your chances of becoming pregnant are very high.

  3. If you've been taking your pill like you should and you did have your period, no you are not pregnant. There is something called implantation bleeding very early in pregnancy, but it's ONLY SPOTTING so little to no blood really. I don't think that's what you had. You're fine though. Always use a condom though because the pill CAN fail especially if not taken correctly.

  4. First of all, I recently found out that you can still have your period, but it's not exactly your period, while you still bleed you don't drop an egg. while your pregnant. And second of all it takes 1 month for birth control to start working

  5. Of course not.

  6. My sistere is 8 weeks pregnant and just got off a very heavy period, a week later she is still pregnant, heart beat and all, so go see the doc to be sure, besides you would want to keep taking birth control pills if you are pregnant.  Good Luck.

  7. Probably not, since you got your period.

You do realize that the pill doesn't keep you safe from sexually transmitted diseases. Anyone your mate has had s*x with, protected or not, is giving you whatever diseases they may have had. Be way more careful. You can't see all of them by just looking at his junk.

  8. Yes, dont base pregnancy on a period, go get a pregnancy test done to be sure!

  9. Hopefully you are not pregnant but Some people get their periods while being pregnant specially in early stages. If you did take your pills on time you would have not get your period for about a month. Now you have got "bleeding" after more than a week of starting the pill. Maybe you missed a pill just before the bleeding has started and it can be the reason for the period to start. Or maybe the bleeding that you have is not a period at all. It can be because of missing the virginity. It is also possible that the pill is a low dose one and it is not a good contraceptive for you.

In any case as far as I know the best thing to do is going to the doctor. If you can't the next best thing is waiting about 30 days after the s*x and then using one of those pregnancy tests available in the drugstores.

Just don't forget that aborting a fetus can harm your sexual organs forever. Good luck
