Can you still get bright futures if you choose to serve in the military right after high school?

I have received a bright futures scholarship that would pay 100% of my tuition at a community college. I'm considering joining the Air Force right after graduation. I have recently read that the GI Bill provided for vets is not enough to cover college after their tour of duty is over. I was wondering if I could still be eligible to receive bright futures scholarship after serving 4 years in the military? I would also like some opinions on whether joining the military while already having a scholarship is a good idea.

This is a crazy idea, but you may want to contact bright future's organization and talk to them about your plans so you can weigh your options.  I really have a hard time understanding why people do not go to the horse's mouth on these sort of situations.  

I was a recipient of GI Bill and depending on where you go to school it may or may not cover your tuition.  It depends on the cost of the school you are attending.  Personally, if it were me, I would take the bright futures for two years, get an AA degree, join the military and you will get advance rank promotion with a college degree.  Then enroll in GI Bill and go to 4 year school when you get out.
