I think water attracts the Sun more or something but whenever I've done that I've come out the pool more tanned.

You get a faster tan in the water because belive it or not the water magifies the sun's rays.

yes beacause water will refelct the sunlight onto you and then youll get an even faster tan in the water then out

yes you will--in fact, you'll get more tan if you're IN the water because of the reflective properties of water.  that's one of the major reasons that tanning oil speeds up the process of tanning--it's because the oil reflects and absorbs the sun light.
