Can you still get tan when you have sun block on?

I go to the pool alot and i never put sun block on because i want to get tan and i end up burning.....can you still get tan when u have sun block on??

good luck being an old wrinkly person by the time your 30 . i rather prefer being pale its sexyier . tan makes you look orange and discusting .

youll get sunburnt very fast yes,but its bad for your skin and can cause skin cancer.

you can get tanned healthly with sunblock,it reduces the ultravioles getting into your skin.

ya i think but you have to use like below 30 i think....... although i have naturally dark skin and usually use none or less than thirty and i still get a tan so i don't know if that would work for you but it might.

yup. i went up to muskoka woods and put sunblock on every day, and i still got a tan!  It wasn't a big tan but the main reason i only put it on is to prevent my skin from burning and getting a disease (like skin cancer)

Yes--you just need to choose your SPF based on the needs of your skin.  if you apply it 20 minutes in advance, you will not get burnt, just tan!
