Can you still go to heaven and live in paradise if you love God but commit suidcide?

i have schizophrenia and get in the worse mood swings imagginable and get very suicidal, but now, the idea is staying with me, being depressed longer then i usually am. i just want to give this life up on earth and live with him and be in paradise. i dont want to kill myself but i have a feeling my disease will take over me and lead me to it. i just want to know that if you love God and believe him with all your heart, if you can still go to heaven

Hi, Gabi the straight answer for your question is you cannot go to heaven if you commit suicide. Each &every one in this earth have pain in exsistence , Lord says that He had carved  you  in His palm , this shows the importance of you in the eyes of the Lord .Lord says that He counts your hairs &keeps His eyes on you, He guides you ,He strengthens you  . So don't be worried , Let's pray with hands together for your delieverence from sickness.

Hi Gabe.  I have Schizophrenia too, Paranoid type.  I take the right dose of meds, I get therapy, I have family and friends and pets, I have hobbies.  No, I don't think that you could go to Paradise if you commit suicide, because Life is a Gift from the Divine Creator to you and to all people.  SZ will only take over you if you don't take care of yourself by talking about what's on your mind with a qualified healthcare professional.  I recommend that you do that now.

talk to a doctor first and foremost.  Death is NEVER the answer.  Trust me. Pray for strength and deliverance.  Pray diligently.  And don't take what God gave you (your life).  He put you here on earth for a reason and He will take you out of it when you have finished fulfilling His purposes for your life (which he decides).  

there is only 1 unforgiveable sin and suicide is not it.  however, it is clear that you should never do this.  It is the OPPOSITE of faithful.

I know life is hard to deal with and there are days where you feel that you just can't go on! Only because satan put's those thoughts in our minds! satan purposely does this so he can draw us away from God! He want's us to be tormented for enternity!No you don't go to heaven if you kill yourself! I know you want to be with God so much rather than this evil world full of hurt! Yes, you can still go to heaven even if you commit suicide, after all unfulfilled desires and issues on Earth have been resolved, and you one desire, that is to serve God. Committing suicide doesn't mean that you are a bad soul and you will end up with bad spirits in the spirit world. Your loved ones on the other side will seek you out. But if you really love God and believe in him with all your heart (as you said), ask for God's mercy and you might be cured of your ailment....

Well, no not at all. You are here for a reason. You may have the disease, but He made ways for medications and help to be developed.  I want to go to paradise too!  I hate paying bills, dealing with stupid people at work, and of course, the pain that comes with aging, but I know that killing my self will just take me from a srewed up life on earth, to h**l below, and then there is no hope.  You are still alive, and if you love the Lord Jesus, and really believe that he has healing power (easier said, I know) you will know that there is a reason, and he has a purpous for everything. He would never give you more than you can bear, but he expects you to continue to seek his face and afford him the opportunity to show you just how powerful he is.  Trust me.  I have seen more than I needed to to know he is real, and believe me I am not making it up.  Why would I? It would easier not to believe in God and do whatever I want.  I would love that.  But I can't because I have seen miracles, I have heard his voice, and I know how he works, I have no choice but to live right and make sure I do everything I can to have a connection with him.  .  God is very real, and so it Satan, and suicide will land you in a place that will make your whole life just a waste of time. Instead of killing yourself, did you think about trying to press through?  People say all the time that they love God with all thier heart, but if they did, why not take a little more time and study his word and his rules?  His word says very plainly that Satan entered into Judas when he committed suicide.  You are taking a life that God ordained before the foundation of the earth, to do something special with, and you are considering taking it upon yourself to end it?  To answer your question, yes you will definatly go to h**l.  And anyone who tells you different, well they just better be right, shouldn't they?  It may sound harsh, but for someone who loves the Lord this much, you don't sound very sure of what he is capable of.  He may not show up when you call him, but he will show up exactly when He knows you will be ready to accept that he has to say or do. I hopes this helps you.  I feel your pain, I just hope you understand just how serious your pain is, and I hope you get professional help. Suicide is the easy way out of life and right into an eternity of sadness and seperation from God.  No matter how sad you get in h**l, you can pray until the end of time, and God won't hear you.  Please think about that.

Mental illness is verytough to deal with. I have to deal with a very sick sister who is paranoid. Imagine that one has to move from one place to another because she thinks somebody is poisoning her or sprat chemicals into her home. d**n, it is not easy to deal with a mental person. Life is tough but life must go on.

Suicide cannot solve anything except end life itself. It didn't really solve anything at all. If God exists then suicide should be sinful because a God would have given life a chance to live for a purpose.

Not really sure. God is so merciful that he may forgive anything.  It is His choice and we don't know the mind of God so don't believe anything that you hear either way. He will choose.

It sounds like you are really going through a tough time right now, but you are alive because God is still breathing life into you.  That's the good news.  He has plans for you.  May I suggest that you take your mind off of what you don't have and place it on what you do have.  You have the ability to inspire someone else.  You have gifts and talents that you can use.  If you are depressed, get help from someone who loves you.  Join a group where you can talk to others who are dealing with what you are dealing with and praise God for each day.  

Try this.  Tomorrow, pray in the morning and don't ask God for anything.  Ask Him how you may serve Him and watch Him bless you with a sound mind and body. What every you experience during the day that enable you to help or empower another, do it with the love in your heart that you say you have for God.  Try it, please.

Well, first off, if you love God, you won't do it! God loves you. He made you the way you are for a reason.  As for the schizophrenia, I can't say I've ever experienced it but I don't believe it's real.  I very much dislike doctors because they can come up with any sort of problem to get someone to have to be on medication the rest of their life.  It's all about money anymore, not saving people.  I know of a ton of situations that could prove that.  I'm not saying you don't have a problem.  I'm just saying I very strongly believe that if you pray, and I mean actually pray and trust in God it won't be a problem anymore.  The tongue is a very powerful thing. The devil will use anything he can imaginable to break you.  If you think you have schizophrenia, he will use that against you.  You have to put your trust in God completely. I just recently had the guts to actually do it and it really works!!! It's better than any self help book or anything some human is going to tell me to do.  God has helped me in sooooo many ways and until a year ago, i was atheist.  So for your question, haha, I do believe you can still go to heaven but keep in mind, god has a plan for every person he created.  So don't waste what he has planned for you.  Don't let the devil win!! I believe that EVERYONE dies with sin, everyone will be judged. Whether you think suicide is a sin a different argument (and I don't believe it is) but to say that someone would go to h**l because they commit what you think to be a sin is just crazy!

No...that's not right. You wont go to h**l just because you kill yourself.

If you love and believe in God with all your heart and do what is right, He will bless you. Your mind can be your worst enemy, you must have have thoughts that are pleasing to God. Don't dwell upon suicide. Think positive, good thoughts. It is all about the thoughts, would they please God? Find a church to go to if you don't have one and get involved in the church; in the different ministries you may find a niche that fits you well. Make Christian friends who would help keeping your mind off of suicide, making you think wonderful thoughts instead. God will take you when he sees fit.

It may seem hard; I get depressed too and I have had "meltdowns" when I have been off my depression meds for a couple of days from being too busy.  I have been working on keeping from having meltdowns and it has been working.
