  1. You will receive a court notice soon.  In it, you will be provided with your options, one of which may be traffic school.  You will still have to pay your fine plus the cost of the school, but at least it won't appear on your DMV sheet.

Please be careful.  Life isn't worth the risk.  Slow down and enjoy.

    Good luck.

  2. Absolutely, in fact considering your age the Court will mandate you go to traffic school.

The process will be, you will receive a letter in the mail from the Court asking you to pay a fee and then pay the fee to go to traffic school.  Once you paid the fees, I would recommend doing traffic school ONLINE, it's super easy.

Check out http://www.TicketRelief.com they were affordable, easy, and quick to complete.

  3. I don't know what state you live in, but in CA you should be able to do so. Age doesn't really have anything to do with it, you can do traffic school but it only takes 1 point off in CA. Since most traffic violations are 1 point on your license anyways, this means 1 ticket is "erased" from your record. Make sure you take traffic school though, if you can't, ask a judge to grant you traffic school if he/she can (its at the judges discretion in most states to allow you if for some other reason you are ineligible) One ticket on your record at 17 can increase insurance premiums by as much as 25%.
