I don't have the battery connected in my car.

My starter motor is also broken.

  1. You need a battery to push start your car to run the essentials such as fuel injection and fuel pump and the ECU(the brains).

If the car is carburated then it is possible to do since there is really nothing that is needed to run off the battery to make the engine turn over.

But it can be push started if you have a bad starter motor.

  2. Yes, if it's not fuel injected, but hook the battery up even if it's dead as it's hard on your voltage regulator otherwise. If it'ts fuel injected, you won't have power to your electric fuel pump.

  3. Broken starter wont matter if you push start, but you will need your battery hooked up
