Can you still tell you have crooked teeth with braces on?

my teeth are a little crooked, and i was wondering if when i get my braces put on if it will make my crooked teeth less noticeably bcuz of the metal nd what not.

a little, but as long as its working to fix it, they will only look better with time!

I had braces because I had very wonky teeth. I had them for three years, over the years while getting them tightened they moved slightly more and more until they were dead straight, it does take time for them to become straight and behind the braces your teeth could look slightly straighter or different but basically with my braces my teeth that were really crooked the wire bent in and out with them so you could still sort of notice. With each individual the movement of your teeth could be very quick or could be slow like mine were so the wonky teeth could be straight soon after having them on.

But also, my orthodontist was a perfectionist and wouldnt let me get them off until they had "pulled" my teeth perfect.

Choose colours that make your teeth look whiter, that will make your teeth blend in with each other like black or light blue.

I felt that my crooked teeth were less noticeable more because of the rubber bands that covered the metal brackets.

no. it will make it look more noticable because the shinyness of the metal atracts to the teeth...but y does it matter?? your getting them fixed and it will b all worth it in the end!!
