  1. I don't recommend it ,it's there for a reason (your safety)

if something happened ,you know you did what was best, All the guys i know that got hurt using equipment wished they used the safety devises that came with the equipment.

  2. Sure you can bypass the safety. But be very careful of your fingers and toes! Meat sounds much different than cutting wood!

  3. some saws don't have that safety my dewalt does not nether does my 8 1/4" skill    I'm not talking about the blade guard I'm talking about the switch safety

  4. yes

  5. Absolutely.  I find that the safety trigger causes more problems than it solves - it is too awkward to press while you're trying to hold the saw in a precise location.

On a cordless saw they have a real use (you don't want the saw starting up while it's in the tool bag), but it's easier to remove the batteries before you pack it up.

I would never use a circular saw without the saw blade guard, though...  That'll chop your leg off for sure.

  6. You better believe it........that's the first thing I rip off...........they will get you hurt bad..........nice to be able to let go....

  7. Sure, If you want to cancel any insurance you may have
