Can you strangle someone with their own hair?

I'm not planning on strangling somebody, it was in this story I read and I wanted to know if it's possible.

If it was long enough, sure.  Pound for pound, hair is stronger than steel, although not nearly as durable...

Yes, it is possible! hair is very strong when used together like a wound piece of string makes a rope.

Funny I was thinking the same thing yesterday when there was these annoying girls at work lol. But if the hair was long enough, and your strong enough to pull it tightyl around, im sure its possible. lol
