  1. some say you start off with $35,000 others say you start of with $266,000. So I'm not sure. You'll have to make the choice or research more.


  2. Yes. We have several in our system. Pretty much any Orthopedic surgeon who operates will work in a hospital at least part of the time, unless you are doing very minor procedures.

    Pay for Orthopedics in general is very good, and sub-specializing would be even better, but I don't have exact numbers. Ballpark would be $250,000-350,000 depending on how much you wanted to work.

    Stress is not a situation, it's a reaction to a situation. If it's a good fit for you it might be challenging, but shouldn't be stressful.
