i was wondering can you sue a school for putting a 5 year old boy on a school bus that not suppose to ride the bus home with no other siblings. Also I didn't sign a paper for him to ride the bus, but is the school held responsible?

  1. Not a lawsuit, but someone might get fired. Whoever was on watch.

  2. File a complaint with the Superintendent, school district and notify the members of the school board.  You could possibly sue for injunctive relief but it would cost you more than you would ever hope to get back.  If the school's acts or omissions were the proximate cause of any emotional harm or trauma as supported by the expert opinion of a psychiatrist or other mental health professional, you may be able to recover the costs of continuing therapy.  It is more likely that you will not be able to get monetary damages. The lawsuit may not be worth your investment in it.

  3. Was he beaten up, raped, murdered.  If no harm, then no foul.

  4. thats been happening a lot where i live in NC..and after complaining to the transportation dept of the school...the bus drivers have been fired..dont think you have grounds for ppl being careless though
